It looks like Lil Wayne is in the mood for love.
In an interview for MTV's new weekly late-night talk show Hip Hop POV, Tunechi revealed last night that he's prepping the release of an all new album called Devol.
"That's 'loved' spelled backwards, and it's my version of love songs," he explained.
Wayne has already proved his knack for ballads on tracks like last year's "How to Love," and he's even got a non-rap album under his belt with 2009's rock-influenced LP Rebirth.
On Devol, Weezy said fans can expect an atypical approach to the subject.
"What I mean by my version of love songs is meaning they're not saying, 'I love you,'" he said.
Similar to 2011's Tha Carter IV, Devol will be composed of material Wayne recorded while serving an eight-month jail sentence at New York's Riker's Island in 2010.
"It's all material I did when I was locked up," he said.

There is no release date set for Devol.
