[Watch] Beyoncé Shows Us a Side of Her We Rarely See in New Ivy Park Video
Beyoncé's new activewear line Ivy Park is already breaking the internet thanks to those of us who are convinced that dressing like Bey at the gym is pretty much the missing link to achieving her body. The promotional videos for the collection, which is sold at select retailers including Nordstrom and Topshop, have each featuring Bey in warrior woman mode, flexing her hard-earned muscles in crop tops and unitards.
The latest clip to promote the line, however, shows us a rarely-seen side of Bey: the funny one. The video starts out as expected: Bey glides across the screen on a pair of vintage roller skates, wearing a cobalt blue crop top and ankle pants combo with her hair blonde and gathered on top of her head in a perfectly messy top knot. She stares us down as she skates from one side of the concrete lot to the other.
Then, the unthinkable happens:
Yup, that was Beyoncé, eating pavement. We can't remember the last time we saw Queen Bey do anything that was less than perfect (even her Superbowl near-slip had most of us convinced it was intentional) — though, you could argue that the way she wiped out, gracefully and without getting a hair out of place, was perfect in itself.
Leave it to Bey to do something "relatable" and "human" and still leave us in awe.
