Russell Wilson Enters the Fashion Game
For Russell Wilson, dating one of the world’s top fashionistas has its perks. For starters, he gets invited to all the hot parties and his girlfriend, Ciara, counts luxury designers like Riccardo Tisci among her BFFs. But it seems the Seattle Seahawks quarterback has picked up a thing or two and is breaking out into the fashion game on his own.
Wilson launched his own clothing line, Good Man Brand, at Nordstrom in Seattle this week. The apparel collection includes everything from shorts and T-shirts to blazers and shoes, and the looks skew towards classic, preppy American tailoring. (Think: knit polos and hooded henley sweatshirts.)
"It's for the guy who is a 27-year-old like myself who is dating somebody way out of his league and needs to go out on a date," Wilson joked to The Seattle Times.
The price tags are a little on the luxury end, with a basic T-shirt going for $76 and suede high-top sneakers fetching $348. But for every item purchased, $3 will be donated to the Why Not You Foundation, which helps inner-city kids and "big issues like childhood cancer, world hunger, and domestic violence."
You can shop the clothes online at thegoodmanbrand.com and at Nordstrom stores and 75 “mom and pop” retailers nationwide.
