Iggy Azalea: 'All Women Would Have Plastic Surgery If They Were Rich'
Iggy Azalea has taken a lot of shade this past year for everything from her music to her appearance, but even her fiercest critics have to admit that she tends to keep it 100 with the press.
The Aussie pop star opened up, once again, about her nose job and breast augmentation in an interview with Elle Canada. She put the haters and hypocrites on blast and insists that plastic surgery is far more widespread among celebrity circles — and outside of them — than people want to believe.
“I think in 2016, people should be more accepting of the fact that both famous and non-famous women are having cosmetic procedures,” she says. “That’s just the reality. And I think more people need to admit that s**t so it doesn’t have to be so taboo — because we’re all doing it anyway.”
Azalea then followed her own advice and opened up about her own cosmetic procedures. She said that she got a nose job to correct a bump she got when she got hit with a soccer ball as a teenager. “Now I feel like my nose looks the way its supposed to look," she says. "But for how long do we have to acknowledge that I got a nose job? For the rest of my life? Am I going to be 45 and people are still saying, ‘Nice nose job’?”
Azalea then pointed the finger back at the people who criticize her procedures, saying that if they had the means, they’d elect to go under the knife as well. “All of those women...if they had $10 million in their account tomorrow, I’d dare them not to change one thing about themselves."
Despite her attempts to keep it real, a lot of people still aren't buying what Iggy is selling. Watch Wendy Williams shade the star below:
