Movin' On Up: Lupita Nyong'o and Danai Gurira's Hit Play Heading to Broadway
There's nothing we love seeing more than talented Black women doing their thing, and, together, Lupita Nyong'o and Danai Gurira are a force to be reckoned with.
The actresses teamed up this year for an off-Broadway play called Eclipse, which is set during the Liberian civil war of 2003, and the show was such a smash at the Public Theater in downtown Manhattan that it's now moving to Broadway in February.
With Star Wars: The Force Awakens due in theaters soon, Lupita is going to have a very busy fall indeed. Though she's relatively new to Hollywood, Nyong'o is indisputably one of the most exciting and inspiring actresses working today.
