Eva Marcille Granted Full Custody of Daughter
One month after filing a restraining order against her fiancé Kevin McCall, Eva Marcille has been granted full custody of their infant daughter, Marley Rae.
On March 28, the America's Next Top Model alum asked a judge to keep McCall at least 100 yards away from her following a domestic violence incident. Eva claimed Kevin kicked down doors in their home and chased her around trying to snatch their two-month-old daughter away. The restraining order was granted, and now Eva is moving to keep McCall far away from their child permanently.
According to TMZ, a judge has given Marcille full custody of their daughter, while Kevin has been denied any visitation until their court hearing next month.
“It is unfortunate that life has thrown a curve into Eva’s life but as a responsible parent and adult she’s taking steps to ensure the safety and well-being of their child and herself,” says the model/actress's rep in a statement to TMZ.
Hopefully cooler heads will prevail for the sake of their baby girl.
