Kim Kardashian’s Divorce Putting Her Unborn Baby in Jeopardy

Doctor warns reality star to manage stress better.

Reportedly, Kim Kardashian’s unborn child is now being affected by her messy divorce. A doctor is warning the reality TV star that her court battle with her soon to be ex-hubby, Kris Humphries, is jeopardizing her pregnancy. Humphries is saying no need to hasten the divorce proceedings because Kim’s baby was unplanned.

According to TMZ, Kim’s doctor thinks her unborn baby could be at risk due to the stress Humphries is causing by prolonging their divorce proceedings. Almost a week ago, according to a source, Kim visited her doctor in the middle of the night because she was experiencing severe pains. After examining her, the doctor gave Kim his prognosis: he believed her issue was primarily stress-related. He then advised Kim to handle the stress more effectively or there could be "long-term effects."

Meanwhile, Humphries recently filed legal papers challenging the need for urgency in hastening the divorce case. His attorney, Marshall Waller, states in the documents that: "What is really going on here is that an 'urgency' in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something [Humphries] had nothing to do with, is perceived by [Kim] as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial."

Waller says that if Kim is worried about the legal presumption that Kris is the father of her unborn child — because she got pregnant while they were still married — the attorney said Humphries would be happy to legally clarify that he is not the father.
