Real Housewives of Atlanta Premiere Sets Ratings Record for Franchise
No one can do it like Southern gals. The season four premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta set a ratings record for the entire franchise, becoming the most-watched season premiere of any city, any season thus far (take that, Beverly Hills!).
Nearly three million viewers tuned in to watch the cat fights, name-calling and special guest appearances (America's Next Top Model's Miss J Alexander popped in). But the season has a long way to go to beat its own series-high record: 4.4 million viewers watched the season three finale at the end of January, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The new season kicked off with an instant-classic fight between Sheree Whitfield and Nene Leakes; plus, we see a very pregnant Kim Zolciak, and Phaedra, Kandi and Cynthia embarking on new businesses: modeling, funerals and sex toys. You guess which business belongs to which housewife.
Next week, Nene, Cynthia and Kandi head to Miami; Phaedra looks into the funeral business while Sheree and Kim discuss motherhood. Don't be tardy for the party!
