Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Sell Talent Search Show to Univision
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony may not have been successful in love, but they're still a couple in the boardroom. The previously married stars, who announced their split this past July, just sold a television series together to Latin broadcasting juggernaut Univision.
Q'Viva: The Chosen is a talent search show that follows Lopez and Anthony as they travel Latin America searching for the hottest up-and-coming performers. The series is being shot in English, Spanish and Portuguese and will be broadcast in weekly one-hour episodes on Univision and 21 other broadcast networks internationally.
"Very soon the world's heart will beat to the tune of Latin rhythms and we're looking forward to experiencing history in the making," Lopez said in a statement. "It is with great pride that we embark on this amazing and very personal mission to discover and celebrate the most captivating talent the world has ever seen."
Lopez and Anthony's various managers, agents and lawyers must be breathing a sigh of relief to see that the former couple's business dealings have remained amicable (they also have a clothing line at Kohl's, for which they recorded separate commercials) since there's probably a nice chunk of change at stake. Even the pair's most important joint venture — their children Max and Emme — appear to be well-protected.
In fact, things are going so well, we can suggest another money-making project for these two: writing a book on how to divorce gracefully.
