Diddy Pays Rent For Struggling Miami Families For The Holidays
Sean “Diddy” Combs recently helped out a large number of Miami residents that could have potentially lost their homes just three days before the start of the new year.
People reports that the 51-year-old hip-hop mogul teamed up with his Sean Combs Foundation to assist nearly 200 families by paying their rent. He also provided many of the families with $50 gift cards, cash, and personal hygiene products essential for added protection during the coronavirus pandemic.
If that didn’t already make the holidays a touch sweeter, Diddy partnered with Teens Exercising Extraordinary Success, which People defines as “ an organization with a goal to encourage young people to have a productive lifestyle that will ultimately lead them to become self-sufficient shareholders in the economy by giving them a secure family environment to hopefully prevent them from succumbing to negative peer pressure.”
This initiative will collaborate with Miami Dade County Commissioner Keon Hardemonwith, local philanthropist Michael Gardner, and Headliner Market Group.
Earlier this year, Diddy made a virtual dance-a-thon fundraiser that amassed more than $3.4 million in donations. It went to the non-profit humanitarian organization Direct Relief, which supplies medical equipment to communities impacted by poverty.
