Get Your Knees Ready! Megan Thee Stallion And Beyoncé’s ‘Savage Remix’ TikTok Challenge Takes Off
The coronavirus pandemic might’ve canceled Hot Girl Summer 2020, but Megan Thee Stallion’s surprise remix for her hit single, “Savage,” featuring Beyoncé is bringing the heat to quarantine.
Meg and Yoncé’s “Savage Remix” trended for hours on social media on Wednesday (April 29), providing some much-needed distraction amid the pandemic.
The remix has already spawned a part two to the viral dance challenge on TikTok that has the world twerking, much like how her original version swiftly took off on the platform. Within hours of the single’s release, Keara Wilson, the creator of the original dance for “Savage,” uploaded a new version revamped for the remix.
This time, the choreography was set to the opening verses of the song of Beyoncé's remix as Megan comes in with her new verses. She also made a tutorial for fans who want to learn the dance.
“Here’s the TUTORIAL of my new dance #savagechallenge2 @theestallion #savageremix,” Wilson wrote. “[I know] it’s challenging but that’s the point!”
