Ray J Reportedly Wants To Meet With Trump To Talk Pardoning Suge Knight

The Death Row founder is currently serving out a 28-year sentence.

If there’s anything fans would give Kim Kardashian-West kudos for, it would be her positive influence to help unfairly incarcerated people that have languished behind bars for years.

  • And now, it seems another celebrity wants to follow in her footsteps. According to Daily Mail, Ray J has allegedly been in the ear of Trump’s administration about meeting with the president to ask for Suge Knight to be pardoned.

    The former Death Row Records CEO is currently serving out a 28-year sentence after he was convicted of manslaughter in 2018. Sources claim Ray J feels that Knight is a changed man whose learned from his past mistakes. 

  • So far, reports claim Ray J hasn’t been able to lock in a date yet due to scheduling conflicts between him and the president’s administration, who is gearing up for the 2020 election. 

  • Although, it seems like the Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood reality star might have bitten off more than he can chew. Sources close to the matter say that Trump’s administration has been receptive to a hearing Ray J’s proposal under one condition. Trump’s administration has reportedly been pushing for the R&B singer to attend one of Trump’s political rallies as a show of support.

  • “Ray J feels as though because he's doing this for Suge, all will be forgiven and the streets will respect him for his effort. If he can get Suge out of prison, he feels folks will respect him as a true mogul who can get things done no matter the political affiliation,' the source said.
