Nicki Minaj Scorched TF Out Of This New York DJ And Is Threatening To Expose His Cardi B Comments
After unleashing her long-awaited fourth studio album, Queen rapstress Nicki Minaj is back in action, unapologetically clapping back at her haters and exposing the sneak-dissers left and right.
On Monday night (August 13), DJ Self landed in the Young Money femcee’s crosshairs after fans reported back to her about some hostile comments he kicked around regarding the new album. Presumably via his radio platform, the fan revealed that Self flat-out “attacked” Nicki and called him out for singling her out among the femcee rap circle.
The head Barb eventually caught wind of the shade, and took to Twitter to reveal the source of Self’s hostility. And according to Nicki’s recollection, the Love & Hip Hop New York cast member might also have some explaining to do to about another New York femcee: Bronx’s breakout rap star, Cardi B.
Nicki began by saying it all started over a hug...
And a drop for his radio platform, apparently. “He was just up there dissing the b**ch thinking that would make me f**k with him,” Nicki tweeted back to the fan who brought Self’s remarks to her attention. “Lmao. Jokes on you once again dummy. Passed up on ya meal [ticket] now u get crumbs from her table.” Dubbing him a “reality TV hoe,” Nicki added that he was once considered a respected DJ.
According to her, Self’s been chatting a lot about the Bronx femcee behind the scenes
“Should I tell the people what you told me about her?” Nicki tweeted next. She wouldn’t fall into that trap though, she wrote, suggesting that Self might have even told her such information to set her up in a rumor mill against the Invasion of Privacy rapper. “Suck d**k and go get that crumby VH1 check,” she blasted at Self.
Self claims he never even knew there was an issue between him and Nicki though, but does recall one part of her statement
The Gwinin founder said that he never asked for a hug nor a drop, but only recalls exchanging hellos to one another. Nicki’s fellow Queens-native and good friend DJ Clue did ask her for a DJ Self drop though, he alleges, but she turned it down.
He added that they only communicate when she’s got a project in the works, but doesn’t understand her alleged gripe against him. “Cause I’m friends [with] Safaree?” he speculated in his response. “Or Dreamdoll. Who knows. I’m just [trying to] move the culture here in NY, if you not with that wave please stay from around me, but that’s very corny to me to have an issue [with] a person who you have no relationship with…”
He concludes with a side-eye to the beef, pointing out how it so suddenly erupted in the same week as her album release.

‘Suck my d**k ya lying a** hoe,’ Nicki responded
She’ll be leaving the rest of her response, and the tea, to Thursday’s (August 16) segment of Queen Radio with Apple Music.
And if anyone was bothered by a DJ drop, just wait until the tea she plans to drop come Thursday, she concluded…
