There’s the old Kanye West, the new Kanye, and now, ladies and gentleman, we present to you in 2018: the philosophizing Kanye.

The GOOD Music genius delighted fans when he returned to Twitter after what seemed like light years to share some 280-character creative intellect with his followers. On Tuesday (April 17), he began by pouring from his pool of wisdom with young creatives, giving them the Dos and Don’ts of originating, executing and protecting their ideas in the grander industry scheme. The series of tweets were short and straight to the point.

But, less than 24 hours later on Wednesday (April 18), The Life of Saint Pablo set off on a second string of philosophical tweets. In this round, he emphasized the importance of self-awareness, self-dependency, and superficial originality. He later revealed his statements were actually the buildup of an inventive digital idea: the first-ever Twitter philosophy book, written in real-time, sans publishers, publicists or any other marketing middleman.

And Yeezy fans are glued to their phone screens and happily flipping (or scrolling, dependent on how you look at it) through the pages of ‘Ye’s Twitter philosophy book.
