Lil Yachty Explains Why He Was Wearing A 'F**k Joe Budden' Hoodie
Back in May 2017, Lil Yachty and Joe Budden notoriously clashed on an episode of Everyday Struggle. Although it’s been several months since the two have crossed paths, it looks like Yachty is still not over it. The 19-year-old star was recently seen at a concert in Toronto on Sunday (Nov. 5) with a hoodie sporting the phrase “F**k Joe Budden.” Now, Yachty is explaining his reason behind the fashion statement — and apparently it wasn’t his idea.
According to Yachty, the hoodie was not his. Apparently a fan threw the hoodie on stage. “I put it on, cuz what a hater gotta say,” he wrote under a video post on DJ Akademiks Instagram account. While it may seem like Yachty was just having fun with his fans, the video post suggests the rapper may have still been holding a grudge.
In the video, the crowd is heard chanting ‘f**k Joe Budden!” But as they simmered down, Yachty jumped on the mic to deliver a message to “old” rappers. “All these old n****s need to stop f**king with these young n****s, man,” he demanded
While this alleged beef is pretty much exhausted, it’s not too surprising that Yachty would still have ill feelings towards Budden. That Everyday Struggle episode went viral after Budden berated the rapper about having a 360 deal, his new album and his pursuit of inner peace.
Budden has yet to comment on Yachty’s hoodie, but he’s probably somewhere rolling his eyes.
