Bilingual Beyoncé Shows Off Rap Skills On J. Blavin & Willy William’s ‘Mi Gente’ Remix
Beyoncé is back with new music! The mother of three took to social media announcing the release of her remix of J. Blavin & Willy William’s “Mi Gente.”
As if fans weren’t astounded to hear Bey rapping in Spanish, she went on to reveal that support of the new track would go towards something major.
“I am donating my proceeds from this song to hurricane relief charities for Puerto Rico, Mexico and the other affected Caribbean islands. To help go to Beyonce.com/reliefefforts,” she wrote on Instagram.
Bey has been on a roll offering support to those affected by recent natural disasters. She offered assistance to those displaced by Hurricane Harvey in her hometown of Houston, Texas through her BeyGood foundation. The “Formation” songstress also participated in the Hand In Hand telethon and is slated to perform at the 2017 Tidal X: Brooklyn Charity Concert where proceeds will also be sent to recent hurricane and earthquake survivors in October.
No stranger to supporting the Latin culture, Beyoncé released the Spanish language version of her popular single “Irreplaceable” in 2007 and even appeared on “Beautiful Liar” alongside Shakira and “Amor Gitano” with Alejandro Fernandez.
