Lil Wayne's Latest Suggestion to Birdman May Not Go Over Well
It seems Cash Money’s head honcho Birdman made yet another stride at reconciling with his estranged artist Lil Wayne on Thursday (June 8) by way of a throwback photo from the good old days between the two.
But at the rate (and rhetoric) that Weezy is going, there looks to be a long way to go before the Young Money magnate even thinks of signing off on a peace treaty with his former friend and mentor.
During an appearance at his Las Vegas show, Wayne shouted out a profane gesture addressed directly to Baby that might leave a bad taste in the Cash Money co-founder’s mouth — literally.
“Birdman, you can suck my d**k!,” he said as a mashup of his single “No Worries” ensued in the background.
Aside from Birdman’s nostalgic photos, the inflammatory comments from Wayne may be his version of a response to Baby’s claim that the highly-anticipated Carter V would be rolling out this year. In his Billboard interview, the 48-year-old mentioned that he still considers Weezy to be his “son,” reinforcing that the album is slated for a 2017 release, for sure.
See what Wayne may have to say about that claim in the video below.
