Kendrick Lamar Raps From Police Station in New Music Video for 'DNA'
Beloved actor Don Cheadle just scored an incredible new role, this time being recruited by the likes of Kendrick Lamar.
As Kung Fu Kenny's new project, DAMN., is gearing up to take over the top of the charts, the Compton rapper released his latest visual inspired by the album today (April 18), which interestingly enough features him going back and forth in a police station interrogation room with the famed actor.
Following up the incredible visual for "HUMBLE." and the release of his album in full, Lamar's music video for "DNA." is helping keep fans in a frenzy as they digest the creative and m.A.A.d. world of the increasingly iconic emcee.
The visual for "DNA." opens with Lamar in handcuffs as Cheadle makes his first appearance, with the opening lines mocking the rapper-turned-suspect.
"Kendrick Lamar. Two first names, huh?" Cheadle's character says before the song takes over and he begins to rap along with Lamar. "What the f**k is up with that?"
During the action-packed visual, ScHoolboy Q also makes a cameo appearance, with Lamar eventually finding himself in an open casket. Needless to say, the theatrics behind this visual are just as intense and masterful as the music video for "HUMBLE.," which is currently approaching 80 million views on YouTube.
Take a look at Kendrick Lamar further solidifying his legacy as one of the most talented rappers of our time in the new music video below.
