Twitter Isn't Letting 21 Savage Get Away With This 'Rapey' Statement
21 Savage is learning first hand that posting on Twitter with zero filter sometimes has its consequences. Regardless of how fans may be reacting to his late night comment, the fact of the matter remains — the internet can be an unforgiving place and even if he deletes his tweet, screenshots are forever.
Taking to Twitter, the rapper posted a tweet that he probably could have held off from sharing and his fans instantly called him out for promoting rape culture.
"I work so hard I feel like the ladies [supposed] to f**k me and let me do my thing," he writes. "It's mandatory you please me for all this hard work baby!"
21 Savage immediately was served a swift bout of backlash, with fans referring to him as "21 Rape" or "21 Cosby." Another user even commented, "Young Savage why you rape culturing so hard?"
Needless to say, that tweet didn't go over too well and understandably so.
