Chocolate Droppa Has a Whole Damn Mixtape
Kevin Hart is having an incredible week.
From getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to premiering his new stand-up film Kevin Hart: What Now? today (October 14) in theaters, the comedian continues to advance his insanely successful and creative career.
Oh wait! There's more. Not only did Hart release a new film, but he's also dropped a mixtape — or rather his rapper alter ego Chocolate Droppa did.
The best part? It's actually not too shabby.
With several skits sprinkled throughout the 17-track project, Chocolate Droppa also impressively recruits some of the who's who of today's most buzzing rappers and singers in the game, such as Migos, T.I., 2 Chainz, Trey Songz, Akon, Nick Jonas, BJ The Chicago Kid, Wale and more. Not to mention, the project was released by legendary imprint Motown Records.
While it's almost impossible not to associate Kevin Hart with his particular brand of comedy and possibly write off the project's merit due to his keen sense of humor and wit, it's an absolute disservice not to give the project at least one run through. After all, it just might pleasantly surprise you that Hart's got bars.
Take a listen to Chocolate Droppa's first (but possibly not last?) mixtape below.
