Kid Cudi issued a brave and honest statement to his fans late last night (October 4) to share his personal decision to check into a rehab facility.

In his lengthy note, the 32-year-old recording artist cites depression and suicidal urges as the reasoning behind this difficult choice to seek professional treatment. Following the surprising news, many took to social media to pen encouraging messages of support and understanding to the man on the moon, including Travis Scott.

Earlier this afternoon (October 5) Travis Scott took to Twitter to show his appreciation for Cudi, also going as far as to say that he's the reason he makes music.

"Praying for my dawg cudi," his tweets began. "We love u bro. U mean everything to us. Ur life is important to us in ways u don't understand. DON'T FORGET."

The 24-year-old also added that he's spending his day today listening to nothing but Cudi's discography, further exemplifying just how close to heart he's keeping the musician during this difficult time.

"YOU ARE IMPORTANT TO US," La Flame continued. "I MAKE MUSIC CUZ OF U. WE NEED U."
