There's More: Azealia Banks Isn't Done Ranting Against Beyoncé
Azealia Banks will not let it go. She continues to take to Twitter to criticize Beyoncé for trying to "capitalize on a national conversation" about Black women's suffering while "making herself the star." Banks unleashed a string of text on social media to put her self firmly in the anti-Beyoncé camp once and for all.
"She's not an artist, she's a poacher," Banks wrote. "She takes food out of darker skinned women's mouths and pretends to be inspired." Banks really crossed a line however, when she wrote that she believes, "She needs to stay under Jay Z's foot where she belongs, and stay out of the creative woman's way."
She even got into it with renowned thinker and Beyoncé stan Ta-Nehisi Coates over that artistic value of Lemonade.
Banks is known for going off on other people in the music industry, and it's hard to ignore the hypocrisy of her tearing down fellow Black women in the music industry to express her opinions.
See how Beyoncé is turning Banks and the rest of the haters on their head by selling "Boycott Beyoncé" shirts on tour. Even when she loses, she wins:
