Jay Z Reportedly Helped Write The "LEMONADE" Storyline

The plot thickens...

Beyonce’s recently released visual album Lemonade has been making headlines for so many reasons.

First, she’s Beyonce and she dropped an album, unexpectedly. Second, it featured a full-length visual of the Queen and brought up so many topics, among them being Jay Z’s possible infidelity to her.

Well, now more details are coming out behind the meaning of “Becky with the good hair” as PageSix is reporting that Jay might’ve had a helping hand in writing Lemonade’s storyline.

“I don’t think Beyoncé is calling out one girl. It is many girls. The rumors have been around for years,” a source told the website. “Beyoncé had the baby and was like, ‘What am I doing? This is what my dad did to my mom.’ She really looked at herself. Jay is now a great husband, and this is in the past. They went through a rocky patch but things are good again. The video is about finally coming to terms with her strength and their love.”

It’s hard to believe that Jay Z wouldn’t have known that his wife was writing and releasing music that would put him in an awkward light. This has led many to believe that the two teamed up to unleash an ultimate troll on the Beyhive.

“They develop these storylines to sell albums,” the source continued, “‘Lemonade’ is a movie crafted to drive sales. Jay and Beyoncé are entertainers at the top of their game. Do you think Jay would release her album on [his own] Tidal if it really was all about him? He is 100 percent behind this.”

Wow. We’re not even mad though. BTW, it also became more apparent when Beyonce dedicated a performance of “Halo” to Hov last night during her Formation Tour kickoff concert.
