Uh-oh: Terry Crews’ Comments About Liam Neeson Are Getting Him Run Off The Internet
Terry Crews currently and rightfully stands as one of the most beloved members of the Hollywood community for many as he has vocally advocated for sexual assault victims in the past, and continues to do so.
However, some of the actor's fans felt a bit betrayed after he shared his thoughts on Liam Neeson's troubling comments regarding his former fantasy of killing Black men.
As previously reported, Neeson, while promoting his latest film with The Independent, boldly said that he once walked the streets with the sole intention of murdering any Black man who approached him after a friend shared with him that she was allegedly raped by someone Black.
His remarks infuriated the social media community with their anger only intensifying when he went on Good Morning America on what would have been Trayvon Martin's 24th birthday to recount the racially motivated ordeal while stressing that he is not racist.
Crews, shortly after the Taken star's initial interview went viral, took to Twitter to share some words that some didn't appreciate, given the context of Neeson's remarks.
While some glazed over the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor's first tweet, they found it hard to ignore his second where he problematically tried to cape for the actor.
"Liam is just describing his fork in the road," he wrote.
Needless to say, Twitter users and Crews' fans wasted no time in expressing their disappointment in the actor's stance and choice of words:
