Bag Secured: Tisha Campbell Snatches Her Hard-Earned Cash Right Back From Ex Duane Martin
Actress Tisha Campbell-Martin has made some serious money moves! The former My Wife & Kids star has reportedly reached a deal to buy back her acting rights that she relinquished as part of her bankruptcy case.
According to court docs obtained by The Blast, the actress reached a settlement with the trustee in her and her estranged husband Duane Martin's bankruptcy case.
She will reportedly pay the trustee $115,000 in two installments in order to obtain her residual rights. Martin will reportedly cough over $60,000 in one installment and $55,000 in another within 90 days of a court's approval of the settlement.
The former couple has reportedly been battling over their residuals since their bankruptcy was filed. The trustee over the bankruptcy has collected $300,000 in royalties. Despite the drama, docs prove that the actress has been to regain control of her business affairs from her soon-to-be ex.
Earlier this summer, the actress accused her estranged hubby of hiding money from her over the course of their marriage. Campbell-Martin filed for divorce at the top of the new year after 20 years of marriage. The duo were reportedly legally separated in December 2016.
