Fabolous Indicted On Four Felony Charges In Domestic Abuse Case With Emily B

The Brooklyn rapper's reported four charges all carry a potential of five years each.

TMZ reports that Fabolous is now indicted on four felony charges by a New Jersey grand jury last week in connection to the domestic violence case with his fiancée and mother of his children, Emily B.

The March incident took place at their home in Englewood, New Jersey and was exposed by footage of the Brooklyn rapper wielding an object at Emily and her father, which was later revealed to be a pair of scissors. Fab reportedly turned himself in to New Jersey officials following the video’s release. Despite the reconciliation with Emily that followed not long after, the domestic violence case still stood in court, and is now facing Fabolous up against third-degree charges in the state of New Jersey.

  • According to TMZ’s report, the charges include…

One count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill, and one count of possession of a weapon (the aforementioned pair of scissors). The site adds that all charges “can bring up to five years in prison,” bringing potential time behind bars to a total of 20 years.

  • Fabolous nor Emily’s respective teams have yet responded to the reports

However, the last statement from Fab’s attorney maintained his innocence in stating that no crimes were committed in the video footage, and that the encounter was merely an argument. Other sources allege that the pair also secretly tied the knot, which could mean ill-timing for Fab's charges if such reports are true.

More details on the reported indictment to come.
