When news broke that comedian and actor Martin Lawrence proposed to his girlfriend, Roberta Moradfar, no one was surprised to learn that Lawrence had gone to extreme lengths to pick out an amazing one-of-a-kind ring.

TMZ reports that Martin spent months with Iconic Jewels in Beverly Hills, California, to create the perfect ring for Moradfar, and from the reported price tag it is clear that Lawrence spent far more than time to make sure that his future wife would be happy.

The custom 5-carat emerald cut ring with a 1-carat band reportedly set Lawrence back $500,000!

Even with this being Lawrence's third time down the aisle, it's clear he's pulling out all the stops for his future bride.

And Lawrence and Moradfar are not the only ones happy about the ring, either. Iconic Jewels posted an up-close video of the ring on Instagram to show off their handy work.
