Beyoncé Is Seeking Dark-Skin Women Across Cultures To Appear In ‘Brown Skin Girl’ Music Video
Beyoncé’s album accompanying the photo-realistic remake of The Lion King is truly the gift that keeps on giving.
The cat has been let out the bag that the R&B superstar is filming a music video for “Brown Skin Girl,” a single off the 27-track project. The song quickly became a fan favorite for being an empowering ode to Black women, particularly those of darker complexions.
It spawned the viral #BrownSkinGirlChallenge that swept social media, as brown-skinned beauties of every hue basked in the richness of their melanin.
The Daily Mail has reportedly obtained a copy of a casting call looking for "normal people" based in London to appear in the shoot for the video on Thursday (Oct. 31) and Saturday (Nov. 2).
“We are casting for Black and Brown people of all cultures, nationalities, ethnicities, genders, ages and backgrounds based in London,” the call sheet reads, encouraging people of “all genders, builds, shapes, and ages” to apply.
