Here's How Birdman Feels About Rick Ross' Diss Track 'Idols Become Rivals'
Birdman got an earful on Rick Ross’ new track “Idols Become Rivals,” and now the YMCMB boss is responding with some choice words for the Miami emcee.
The track, which comes off Rozay's new album Rather You Than Me, exposes the many issues he has with Cash Money Records and its creator, but with his response Baby made it clear that he doesn't GAF.
"I don't get caught up in hoe sh*t, man," Birdman told Billboard on Friday. "I just keep doing what I'm doing and keep pushing. I don't get caught up in that, I don't play like that. I'm a man and I stand my ground and I do my thing. Numbers don't lie, and that's all I give a f*ck about: numbers, and putting them up."
Ross had also spoken to Billboard, prior to the release of the track and described the song as a message to a former hero of his. "It's basically me writing a letter to someone in the game that I looked up to damn near the most and I hate what things have come to," he said.
