Quvenzhané Wallis Named Face of Armani Junior
After appearing in the Oscar-nominated films Beasts of the Southern Wild and 12 Years a Slave, actress Quvenzhané Wallis is now taking on the fashion world in her newest role as the face of Giorgio Armani’s kids' line, Armani Junior.
Donning a satin suit and posing with an adorable pup draped across her shoulder, the 10-year-old is as charming as ever in the ad spot introducing the partnership. She now becomes the first major child star to front a luxury brand.
Thrilled about the opportunity, Wallis tells The Hollywood Reporter, "I'm so happy to be chosen by Mr. Armani to be his ambassador for Armani Junior. I felt the same excitement when I got cast for a major film. Me? Wow! I was honored to wear his custom gown to the [2013] Oscars. It made me feel like a princess."
"It's fun to wear Armani Junior since I really like the clothes. It's young. It's cool." The pint-size starlet adds sweetly, "My friends are going to want to borrow all my clothes."
Isn’t she a doll? Aside from her new modeling gig, you can next catch Wallis starring on the big screen in the remake of Annie this December.
