Guess Who's Coming to Lunch With Obama? Romney

President Obama and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney will meet for the first time since the election.

After his re-election victory, President Obama said he hoped to meet with Republican rival Mitt Romney to talk about deficit reduction and job creation.
Skeptics may have thought it was just an effort to appear magnanimous, given how openly the two seemed to dislike each other during the campaign. But, as it turns out, the president is a man of his word and will host Romney at the White House this week.

"On Thursday, Governor Romney will have a private lunch at the White House with President Obama in the Private Dining Room. It will be the first opportunity they have had to visit since the election. There will be no press coverage of the meeting," said White House press secretary Jay Carney in a statement Wednesday morning.

The two reportedly have not spoken since the election.
