Muni Long is letting her fans in on deeply personal chapters of her life following her recent split from her estranged husband and former business partner Raysean Hairston. 

In an emotionally raw social media post, the “Hrs & Hrs” hitmaker shared a glimpse of the struggles she endured during their relationship, offering insight through excerpts from her personal diary.

Long, who recently revealed she has a son—a fact previously unknown to the public—posted about the challenges she faced, especially during the holidays. 

“Sometimes I get sad around the holidays and I wish things were different,” she admitted in a lengthy caption. “Then I read some of the things I wrote in my diary and I feel disgusted that I allowed this kind of behavior at all,” she added.

Accompanying her heartfelt caption, Long shared an entry from August 2021, written before her breakout hit “Hrs & Hrs” was released. The candid note detailed moments of emotional turmoil, with the singer revealing, “I had to find a way to survive the situation I was in so I started documenting things in real time.”

She continued, “I have tried to tell my story to family and friends, but it sounds so crazy no one believes me. Again, this is just one entry. And it’s not even that bad” 

Long ended her not post by telling her female supporters “yourself ladies. Get away from anyone who doesn’t treat you right.”

Last August, Muni Long revealed that she and Hairston had decided to part ways after nearly a decade of marriage. The pair, who first crossed paths in Los Angeles, married in 2014. Until now, the details surrounding their split have remained largely private.
