Report: Swagg Huncho Found Dead in St. Louis
Ferguson, Missouri, rapper Swagg Huncho has been found fatally shot in St. Louis.
Huncho, born James Johnson Jr., was found in a yard behind a home around 10 a.m. Sunday (December 16). St. Louis police are investigating what happened but have no suspects at this time. They have confirmed that Johnson was shot in the head.
Swag Huncho was a member of the group 3 Problems, who gained notoriety after the protests in Ferguson but started to fade after one of its members went to prison earlier this year. Their music focused on crime and the difficulties of living in the northern St. Louis area.
Huncho’s death marks the 186th homicide in the St. Louis area this year. They experienced nearly 160 in all of last year.
