Nicole Scherzinger and Entourage Held at Gunpoint in Mexico
Nicole Scherzinger's bad week got worse during a trip to Mexico, when the X Factor judge and her entourage were held at gunpoint. The group were in the country to shoot the music video for Nic's new single "Try With Me," when the bulletproof SUV they were traveling in was pulled over by gunmen from a local gang.
Scherzinger's choreographer Brian Friedman, who was on the trip, recalled the frightening incident for Star Magazine (via RadarOnline.com). "We were held at gunpoint," Friedman said about their five-hour drive through the drug-infested mountains to the Xilitla rainforest. "People next to our cars ... There were M-16s and Berettas!"
Luckily, the group was released and sent on their way unharmed…but between the death threats from angry X Factor fans and this, maybe Nicole should be eligible for hazard pay.
