Kanye West Rents Out Burberry Store To Preview ‘Follow God’ Visual
Kanye West is a man with many tricks up his sleeve. The Jesus is King artist rented out the 5th Avenue Burberry store in New York City on Wednesday (Nov. 6) to premiere his latest visual and album’s lead single, “Follow God.”
Following a brief appearance at the 2019 WSJ Innovator Awards with wife Kim Kardashian West, where they presented Burberry Creative Director and family friend Ricardo Tisci with the Fashion Innovator award, ‘Ye made his way over to the store for the special release, as reported by Hip-Hop-N-More. A$AP Rocky and Tyler, the Creator were also in attendance.
“Thank you, everybody. Thank you for appreciating this journey that we’ve been on,” Kanye began. “Things that people say couldn’t happen, people say you couldn’t have. A number once Christian album, gospel album, pop album, rap album, all at the same time.”
Kanye’s dad, Ray West, made a cameo in the video that appears to take place on the 4,500-acre property that he owns in Wyoming. A lengthy tease of the music video appeared on Kim’s Instagram story.
