Baby Rebukes Forbes List
Last month, Forbes magazine named Bryan "Baby" Williams, the CEO of Cash Money, one of the wealthiest men in hip-hop. The magazine said he was in the top 5, banking in an estimated $100 million. But in a video interview with Uptown Angela, the rapper/CEO challenged the number, saying that he's worth more.
"That's a low number for a n**ga like me," the Birdman said, not so modestly. "We know what to do. The goal in our life and my life is to be a billionaire. I'm flipping hundreds. I ain't that far. I'm about eight steps," he continued, implying that he was closing to the billion-mark than Forbes had reported.
Baby tied 50 Cent for the 4th and 5th spot on the list, which Forbes says they compile by "valuing current holdings, looking at past earnings, leafing through financial documents and talking to a bevy of analysts, attorneys, managers and other industry players to find the nitty-gritty details."
But Baby challenges the criteria. "I don't know how they tally up," he says. "I don't know where they get that s--- from."
