Michael B. Jordan Confirms He’s Open to Working with His ‘Boy’ Jonathan Majors
Michael B. Jordan’s loyalty to Jonathan Majors hasn’t wavered. Despite controversy surrounding the actor, the “Creed III” star isn’t ruling out working with his former co-star again.
In a recent interview with GQ, the 38-year-old spoke about Majors’ 2023 legal battle, expressing both support and admiration for the actor's resilience.
“But he’s doing great, just got engaged. I’m proud of his resilience and his strength through it all, and [his] handling [of] it. I’m glad he’s good. That’s my boy,” Jordan shared.
In December 2023, Majors was found guilty of two misdemeanor counts—harassment and assault, though he was acquitted of intentional assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree.
The charges stemmed from an incident with his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. The incident led to significant fallout, including his firing from multiple film projects and a suspension from his role as Kang in the Marvel universe.
Despite the verdict, Jordan isn’t hesitating when it comes to the idea of reuniting with Majors on screen. When asked directly if he would work with him again, Jordan’s response was, “Yes. Yes.”
The actor is gearing up for his next big project, Sinners, which reunites him with longtime collaborator Ryan Coogler. The supernatural horror thriller marks Coogler’s first original screenplay since “Fruitvale “Station.”
Jordan takes on dual roles in the film, playing twin brothers who return to their hometown hoping to escape their troubled past—only to discover a much darker force waiting for them.
“Sinners” is set to hit theaters on April 18, 2025,
