Rick Ross Talks Assault Case: We're Staying Positive
Rick Ross remains optimistic, no matter the end result of criminal charges hanging over his head. The 38-year-old rap star briefly spoke about his assault case during the 2015 BMI R&B/Hip Hop Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif., last weekend.
“We’re staying positive right now, staying focused,” Ross told Hip Hop Wired, without elaborating. Since the incident is still a pending legal matter, he opted not to say more about the allegations, and instead turned the topic to his music.
The Maybach Music Group boss was arrested on kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery charges in June for allegedly attacking a groundskeeper employed at his Georgia home. He was released close to a week later after posting $2 million bail, and a judge recently lifted a restriction allowing Ross to travel for work.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent is still laughing at Ross’s expense. On Labor Day, Fif Instagrammed a photo with a man he claims to be Ross’s victim.
