As the size of impactful albums released from the new generation of rappers gets bigger, it’s A$AP Rocky’s turn to wow fans with his sophomore LP, At. Long. Last. A$AP.

The Harlem rapper is on the cover of Billboard, where he revealed A.L.L.A. is coming out on May 12 via RCA Records. Off the heels of his cinematic debut, Dope at Sundance, Rocky broke down his tastes in fashion and music and shares what kind of things inspire him. The story confirms that Mark Ronson, who is behind the smash hit “Uptown Funk” with Bruno Mars, will appear on the album.

Another interesting bit about the story is Rocky admitting to only hearing a few songs off Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly. Is this a sign of competitiveness? "I got about two songs I liked,” he says, before going into why he’s so into psychedelic rock and trip-hop.

At. Long. Last. A$AP follows his 2013 debut album, Long. Live. A$AP. So far, Rocky’s singles have made its rounds in DJ sets such as “Multiply,” “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2” and “M’s.”

Recently, Rocky was the latest guest for a special edition of CRWN at the Tribeca Film Festival. He’s scheduled for a conversation with Chairman Mao as part of the Red Bull Music Festival in New York City.
