JLo began dating Alex Rodriguez nearly two years ago, and they’ve been total couple goals ever since!

According to the couple's interview with PEOPLE, as their romance flourishes, they've been sure to keep in mind their children’s satisfaction with their union.

FYI: 49-year-old, Jennifer is the mother of 10-year-old twins Emme and Max. 43-year-old Alex is the father of daughters Natasha, 14, and Ella, 10.

“The exciting part of our love is that we’re both very aware of how lucky we are to have found each other,” said Jennifer

To their surprise it took no time for the families to hit it off. “Kids are so beautiful and open to love and new friends,” shared JLo.

“I was so loving to his kids and he was so loving and accepting of mine, and they embraced each other right away. [It was] ‘I get a new bonus brother and sisters to hang out with all the time and it’s nice.’”

“Our kids have become best friends and that keeps us both grounded and appreciative,” shared A-Rod. “We couldn’t have asked for anything better than the four of them getting along as they do.”

We’re happy to hear that the families are getting along. Now, we’re just waiting for the wedding date!
