You can say a lot of things about T.I., but you certainly can’t say the man is lazy. Between taping episodes of his new successful VH1 reality show, The Family Hustle, promoting his new novel, Power & Beauty: A Story of Life on the Streets, and working on his next album,Trouble Man, the King of the South is also preparing a new mixtape for fans.
Tip took to his Twitter account this week to announce his latest venture. The mixtape, titledF--k Da City Up, will drop right along with the ball in New York City’s Times Square. That’s right, you can ring in the new year with new (free ) music from Tip. T.I. tweeted: “Breaking News! Its official...I’m puttin out a mixtape midnight Jan.1 2012 called #F--kdacityup Wanna be the 1st thing yall hear nxt year.”
While you wait, the first singles from Trouble Man are blowing up, including “Pyro” and “Here Ye, Hear Ye,” featuring Pharrell.
