"Last Sunday night on 11/24/24; I welcomed your lifeless 4lb 8oz 18.5 in long little body at 11:38pm. At only 35 weeks, your impactful and quick arrival didnât even give mommy time to get an epidural. Iâm so grateful to have had your Aunt Katina(who also cut your cord) and nurse Hannah by my side. đđž."

Sondra and Trent Williams share three daughters, Micah, 15, MaKayla, 11, and Madison, 2. Trenton was intended to be born with a twin brother, whom Sondra said she lost around the first trimester.
âđđžAs much as I tried to prepare myself for our meeting, I wasnât prepared nor would I ever be,â she wrote. âAfter losing your twin early in the pregnancy, I prayed and hoped that your diagnosis of Trisomy 13 wasnât true and wouldnât be the fate of my long awaited beautiful Son-shine.âď¸â
âMy firstborn and only son, Iâve always wanted you, but God wanted and needed you more,â Sondra continued. âKnowing you are in Heaven with your Great-Aunt Vivian and that you will Always be our Guardian Angel đźđ˝ brings me great comfort in the midst of all this sorrow. My heart is heavy. Being home without you in my arms has been quite an adjustment. Knowing I will never be able to watch you grow older alongside your sisters has my eyes filled with tears.đâ
Trenton was identified as having trisomy 13, also referred to as Patau syndrome, a severe genetic condition brought on by an extra chromosome 13 instead of the usual two, per Cincinnati Childrenâs. The syndrome occurs in 1 of 10,000-16,000 births annually.
âđĽšI canât even begin to describe how I felt leaving the hospital without you. Nor how it feels being home celebrating Thanksgiving without my baby in my arms,â Sondra continued. âMy heart is broken and my arms are empty.đ But I know youâll always be near watching over me and your sisters. đđźđ˝ And for that, my heart smiles with gratitude. đâ
Sondra closed the message with spiritual gratitude that she and Trenton were given the chance to âbond for 35 weeksâ and that she could deliver and hold her son. âIâm at peace knowing you will never have to suffer,â she wrote. âAlthough I will never hear your soft coos and cries or see those beautiful little eyes staring up at me, I am grateful to God for the time I shared with you. đđMadison loved listening to your heartbeat and watching your waves of movement in my tummy. Trenton OâBrien Williams Jr., my sweet baby boy, we love you our Forever Angel!đđźđ˝â
Just four weeks before, Sondra shared the heartbreaking news that her Aunt Vivianâwho she acknowledged in her letter to Trentonâhad passed away.
