Whoopi Goldberg Adds An Unusual Item To Her Fitness Gear
Whoopi Goldberg has an unconventional workout fit.
The co-host of “The View” shared a secret about her very unique and eclectic style choices. Goldberg admitted that she occasionally works out in jeans. During the Tuesday (Nov. 14) episode of the talk show, the panel discussed Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s reported unusual habit of working out in denim, and Goldberg explained that she has done the same thing.
Her co-host Sunny Hostin was not exactly here for it, saying, “You can’t do any exercise in denim.” Hostin had many questions, asking, “What about the sweating in the privates?”
Goldberg informed her that she merely “changes” her clothes when she arrives home.
“Because listen, sometimes you don’t have time to stop when everybody else is in their shorts and everything. And you go and you get some exercise in when you can,” the EGOT replied.
Another co-host, Sara Haines, chimed in to also ask Goldberg several questions about her answer. “You have worked out in your jeans? In the gym? In public? People have witnessed this," she asked.
Without question, Goldberg replied, “I have worked out in my [jeans]. I have. Yes, people have witnessed it.”
Exercising in jeans is one of the peculiar things the Ghost actress has experienced in her 68 years of life. Nonetheless, she is grateful for them all and recently recounted some of her favorite memories as she recently celebrated her birthday on Nov. 13 with her fellow co-hosts.
“Let me tell you why it’s important. I think it's important because I feel lucky to have lived to this age," Goldberg shared.
She went on to say, “I outlived my brother—I’m older than my brother was—and I just feel like I should celebrate and have a good time for all those folks who didn't get to get here."
Goldberg's brother, Clyde K. Johnson, died from a brain aneurysm at 65 in 2015, according to Entertainment Weekly . On Oct. 17, she shared a sweet Instagram post to mark what would have been his 74th birthday.
