Just in time for Black History Month, BET Networks and ICON MANN have joined forces to celebrate and share the journeys of 28 trailblazers whose formulas for success lie in empowering others at home and across the globe.

On each day, beginning Feb. 1, 2014, one of ICON MANN’s “28 Men of Change” will be featured in two-minute vignettes set to air on BET and Centric. Also BET.com will feature exclusive photos, videos and editorials that will give a detailed look at how the diverse list of celebrants combine their passion with their purpose. 

"Each individual selected continues to inspire many different generations with his vision, ability, commitment and success in creating positive changes throughout the world," a statement announcing the initiative said.

TV host and executive producer Nick Cannon, Oscar-nominated director Lee Daniels, Grammy-award winning record producer Kasseem "Swizz Beatz" Dean, celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson and actor Forest Whitaker are among the honorees. 

The group selected for the inaugural “28 Men of Change” initiative include gamechangers in music, entertainment, business, art, law, finance, medicine, science, politics, education and professional sports.
