A24 Drops New Trailer for ‘The Front Room’ Starring Brandy Norwood
Brandy Norwood returns to her thespian horror roots in A24's new trailer for "The Front Room."
Directed by Sam and Max Eggers in their debut, the film follows “a young, newly pregnant couple who is forced to take in an ailing estranged stepmother.” The movie is based on Susan Hill's screenplay of the same name.
The Grammy Award-winning singer announced the news to her 6.1 million Instagram followers in August 2022, sharing a screengrab of Variety’s report on her casting.
"It's official! THE FRONT ROOM from The Eggers' Brothers @a24. Can’t wait for y’all to see this,” she wrote, adding, “God you’re Awesome!!!! I trust you with my entire life. Thank you for this amazing opportunity to work with this unbelievable cast, crew, and the studio everyone wants to work with and of course my Eggers fam.”
Norwood last appeared in the horror genre two decades ago when she starred as Karla Wilson in I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, the sequel to the blockbuster I Know What You Did Last Summer.
