Outkast to Headline Drake's OVO Fest
Outkast has added another big date to their 20th anniversary comeback tour. The rap duo will headline Drake's fifth annual OVO Fest taking place at Toronto's Molson Canadian Amphitheatre Aug. 3-4.
According to a flyer posted on Drake's October's Very Own blog, Outkast will hold down the first night (Aug. 3) while night two belongs to the 27-year-old rapper. Drizzy will be joined by "special guests" who have not yet been announced.
The "All Me" rapper launched his OVO Fest in 2010 and has built a reputation for bringing big names to the stage. Last year's lineup featured Wale and James Blake. 2013 headliner Frank Ocean pulled out at the last minute due to a vocal injury, but Drake more than made up for the lineup shift with surprise appearances from the likes of Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg and Kanye West.
Meanwhile, fans looking for an additional OutKast fix can check for the ATLiens to headline more than 40 music festivals this year. In April, the rap duo will headline the Coachella Music & Arts Festival, followed by the Counter Point Music Festival and Big Guava Music Festival in May and New York City's Governor's Ball in June.
Tickets for the OVO Fest go on sale this Friday (Feb. 21).
