Tony Parker Sues Club Over Drake and Chris Brown Brawl
Tony Parker was an innocent victim in the infamous, bottle-throwing club brawl between the entourages of Drake and Chris Brown last week, and now he's suing the club owners for $20 million.
The NBA star suffered a laceration to his cornea from a shard of flying glass in the melee. In a lawsuit filed yesterday, Parker says the club's proprietors never should have let things get so out of hand, the New York Post reports.
The club in question, W.i.P., in Manhattan, has since been closed due to code violations. Parker's lawyer said the club owners should have known about Drake and Brown's feud over Rihanna and that serving both camps bottle service in an enclosed area was like "throwing gasoline on the flames."
The San Antonio Spurs point guard is set to play with the French national team in this summer's Olympics but will have to sit out for a week as his eye heals.
