Taye Diggs Declares He’s No Longer Dating Outside His Race And Says Black Women Are To Blame

Huh?

Taye Diggs has built a reputation of sharing some interesting and often questionable opinions on race when it pertains to his life and those around him, and his latest comments put the nail in the coffin of this narrative.

During a recent appearance on Van Lathan's Red Pill podcast, the Best Man actor shared some eyebrow-raising thoughts on the backlash he's received from Black women throughout the years, inadvertently pegging it to his former relationships with Idina Menzel and other white women. What he did when relaying his message, however, undoubtedly left a sour taste in Black women's mouths.

Somehow, Diggs found it within himself to dumbfoundingly blame Black women for turning him away from dating white women in the future.

"I mean — deep down inside [there's resentment]. I don't want to say I suppress it, but I just watch it and when it happens to you personally," he said. "Even though you understand the logic, there's trauma there — I don't know if I can ever mess with a white girl now."

Expounding on why he believes he has to exclusively pursue Black women at the moment — at least those who somehow may still want to entertain him — he added that he doesn't like that his options are now so few and far between.

"I don't like that. That goes against who I am as a person feel like I've had [to] deal with that so long it's changed what I think I like, what I'm attracted to," he continued. "It might be racist and I don't want to be racist — I'm not racist. I wasn't raised to look at someone's race and be attracted to one race more than the other. I think any psychiatrist or therapist would say it's textbook."

There's so much wrong with just about ever aspect of his response, but take a listen for more context, beginning at the 29:00 mark, below:
