Kayla Nicole Demands Swiftie Fans To Leave Her Alone
Kayla Nicole has had it up to here with Swifties on the internet.
When she made a tweet saying there was "no way" she could "fully digest" Taylor Swift's forthcoming album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” because of Beyonce's "Cowboy Carter," she didn't expect the response she got. On Thursday (April 18), Nicole, 32, took to X (formally known as Twitter) to explain why she's exasperated by the online hate, as reported by Page Six.
What followed her thoughts about the albums was a flood of unsavory comments from loyal Swift fans, including one that referred to her as a "ho."
"I’m unproblematic. Mind my business. Never respond to the constant vitriol. Solid as they come & don’t expect a pat on the back for it either," she tweeted."
Even as "that girl." she confessed, "Just know everyone has a breaking point & would love for “yall” (because you know exactly who you are) to leave me alone."
When a user on the platform suggested she, "log off" because "the internet is not a real place," Nicole explained why she's not throwing in the towel.
"I made 6 real life figures from being ‘logged on’ last year. And very thankful for it."
She also recommended an activity to keep online trolls occupied. "A better suggestion - people that use this platform to spew hate - log out and focus on getting their mattress off the floor."
Another reason people believe Swiftie fans are bullying Nicole is because of her past relationship with Swift's new boo.
Nicole and NFL star Travis Kelce dated on and off between 2017 to 2022. After they broke up, he began dating Taylor Swift.
