Tyler Perry’s 'Sistas': Tamara Might Become the Hero We Need
This week’s episode of Sistas picks from Gary having the audacity to climb into Jordan’s car. Gary knows Jordan has been following him and wants to let him know. He continues pretending that he doesn’t know what happened to Penelope but then threatens him, saying that if he ever follows him again, he’ll make sure he goes missing next. Um, is that not lowkey a confession?
Later, Jordan asks his campaign manager, Ethan, to find out what he can about Hudson, Gary’s right hand and cleanup man.
In other news, Tamara still messes with Gary behind Hayden’s back. It gets weird when Hayden calls Tamara from work to check on her, and you can hear Gary say, “Wrap that s--t up,” in the background. Hayden asks who that was, and Tamara makes a silly lie, claiming it was just the tv. After Tamara hangs up, she goes to smash the devil. Later, Tamara calls Gary to ask what’s up. In other words, she’s catching feelings. Gary informs her that he’d never have feelings for a heaux and that they smash when they smash and dassit. Tamara doesn’t take that too kindly, but we’ll have to wait and see what she does about it.
Sabrina accidentally tells Karen that she knows about her baby daddy drama. When Karen finds out that Danni is the one who spilled the beans, she is hot. Karen gets even more upset when she finds out that Andi knows, too. But then Sabrina finds out that Pam knew none of them before. Karen wants to tell people on her own time and plans to confront Danni for her loose lips. This friendship is going downhill fast.
Karen confronts Danni about telling Sabrina something she explicitly asked her not to, and Danni is infuriatingly nonchalant about it. Karen has been wilding, but Danni should have kept her secret. However, Danni feels she did nothing wrong since Sabrina is one of their best friends. This makes Karen’s anger even worse, and ultimately, Karen demands that Danni stay out of her business forever before storming out of her apartment.
The other underlying storyline is that Fatima has been struggling. She has a lot on her plate dealing with Zac, his baby mamas, his son, and law school. She got a D on her first law school exam, which means she’s failing. Basically, she goes from work to more work at home and hasn’t had the time to study properly. Angela reminds her that she needs to put herself first. One of the things Fatima can do is hire a nanny.
Finally, the episode winds down with the viewers discovering that Jordan’s campaign manager, Ethan, is an opp, and got instructions to bug Jordan’s apartment. It's too bad that Jordan walks in on him and catches him in the act.
Until next week.
